We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the MIDS Program Office Support Team in PMA\/W 101. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our systems engineering capabilities, ensuring the success of complex defense projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to support the development, integration, and verification of systems within a DoD program office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and capture system requirements using industry-standard tools, with a focus on IBM DOORS, ExAMS, and other MBSE tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain system architecture models, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct analyses to ensure the consistency, traceability, and completeness of system requirements, design, and implementation artifacts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate the integration of system components and ensure alignment with overall program objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide expertise in the use of MBSE tools, including troubleshooting and providing training to team members as necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure understanding and agreement on system architecture and design decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in reviews, audits, and inspections to verify compliance with established processes and standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Incumbent and familiar with work in the MIDS PMW\/A 101 program Office in San Diego.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree from an accredited university in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math\/Computer Science. Master&#8217;s degree preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience (5+ years) as a Model-Based Systems Engineer in a DoD environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-depth knowledge and proficiency in IBM DOORS, ExAMS, and other MBSE tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extensive experience working with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Security Clearance \u2013 YES.
